Brugada Syndrome

Brugada syndrome is one of the unrecognized killers diagnosable on ECG.   If you have been involved in resuscitation of more than 25 patients with sudden cardiac death you have seen one.   It is not rare, and it is one of the causes of syncope or sudden death in young males.   This disorder, along with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and prolonged QT interval are sometimes recognized on ECG in asymptomatic patients.
