Chronic Kidney Disease Guidelines

This document is an edited and hyperlinked version of the Chronic Kidney Disease identification, evaluation and management guidelines for the province of British Columbia.   The Canadian Society of Nephrologists state that most patients with non-progressive renal disease can be managed by the primary care physician.   At the same time, it is important to identify those patients requiring elective or urgent nephrology referral.   Recommendations for various stages of renal disease are covered, as are identification of high-risk groups and case finding.
